Debbie Isitt, who directed Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger! was one of the judges. She put the film in first place, and had this to say: ‘I really enjoyed this interpretation of the Nativity Story – what a great idea to make a silent movie! The black and white filming and use of locations were excellent. The children performing in the film were very engaged and engaging and I thought the music was very cleverly threaded together to enhance the story. I liked the way the stories got mixed up and how it turned into colour at the end when everyone celebrated the birth in the greatest story ever told! One to remember – a treat!’
